Did you know that New Smyrna Beach is the oldest American settlement? older than St. Augustine? And that New Smyrna's roots are of pre-colonial, Minorcan descent? These are just a couple of the many things you will learn by visiting the New Smyrna Beach Museum of History!
The Museum offers many permanent and rotating exhibits. One of their newest being "If Everybody Had an Ocean." The new exhibit describes the story of New Smyrna's connection with the Atlantic through its surfing culture from the 60s onward.
The Museum is open Tuesday-Saturday from 10 AM-4 PM
